Job description

  • You will be responsible for the complete booking of all business transactions in the general ledger and sub-ledger and always ensure complete documentation of all booking transactions
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the continuous reconciliation and careful maintenance of accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounts, taking into account the applicable statutory accounting regulations
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the independent execution of all payment transactions and the precise processing of all travel expense reports in compliance with the current tax law framework
  • You will also be involved in the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements, You will act as a competent contact person for auditors
  • As part of your role, you will support the active digitalisation of internal business processes and drive the further development and optimisation of the company's controlling department
  • Finally, you will be responsible for preparing liquidity planning and determining important key figures in order to reliably provide management with sound decision-making documents

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) and successfully completed further training as a certified financial accountant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in financial accounting and are absolutely confident in the application of complex accounting rules as well as in analytical thinking
  • You have a sound knowledge of the common MS Office products and ideally already have experience in using DATEV.products and ideally already have experience in the use of DATEV
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German, to ensure professional communication with external partners and liquidity planning at all times
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of commitment and a structured way of working and are always open to new software solutions in controlling
  • Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work absolutely independently, whereby you contribute your high affinity for numbers profitably to the daily optimisation of processes
