- You will check, assign and post incoming invoices in accordance with the applicable process descriptions and account assignment guidelines
- Your tasks will include the maintenance and regular reconciliation of vendor accounts to ensure correct posting processes
- In addition, you will process all payment transactions and ensure timely processing
- You will actively participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- You will actively participate in the preparation of financial statements and analyses, especially in the area of accounts receivable and accounts payable, also falls within your area of responsibility
- Your careful maintenance of master data in the accounting system contributes to data security
- You are responsible for asset accounting in accordance with the applicable procedural instructions
- You process all VAT transactions, both in Germany and abroad
- You handle payment transactions and e-banking reliably and in accordance with the rules
- You are involved in tax audits and contribute to their successful completion
Requirements
- You have completed training as a financial accountant (m/f/d), balance sheet accountant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- In-depth knowledge of VAT law is part of your profile
- You are proficient in the use of common MS Office products
- You have sound knowledge of accounting software such as Fibu Software, DATEV or SAP
- Very good written and spoken German skills characterise you
- English skills are an advantage for you
- Resilience, independence and the ability to work in a team are part of your way of working
