- You are responsible for the timely and correct processing of all accounting processes (accounts receivable, accounts payable, G/L accounts, asset accounting) as well as intercompany reconciliations
- You are also responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and, in future, IFRS in compliance with legal standards (fast month-end closing)
- You will be responsible for analysing key financial figures and business evaluations to provide management with sound decision-making support
- You will actively contribute to the further development and optimisation of accounting processes - particularly with regard to digitalisation and automation (with a view to SAP S/4HANA)
- The close cooperation with internal interfaces such as Controlling, Purchasing and central specialist departments is part of your job, Purchasing and central specialist departments falls within your area
Requirements
- You have completed training as a financial accountant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- You also have extensive knowledge of accounting and corporate tax law
- You are confident in using MS Office financial programmes and management tools
- You have a good command of written and management tools
- You have a good command of written and spoken German
- You have a vehicle and a car driving licence
- You have an affinity for numbers and a mathematical and analytical approach
- Reliability, ability to work in a team and an accurate and organised way of working round off your profile
