Job description

  • Independent preparation of the annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and ensuring all relevant tax requirements are part of your responsible and varied daily tasks
  • Active support in internal and external audits is ensured by your professional expertise and you ensure complete adherence to all compliance requirements
  • Efficient management of accounts payable and accounts receivable is your responsibility and you manage the general ledger, taking into account the precise posting of all business transactions
  • Regular reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and proactive and accounts receivable is your responsibility and you manage the general ledger, taking into account the precise posting of all business transactions
  • Regular reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and the proactive elimination of deviations are reliably ensured at all times for monthly reporting to your management
  • Identification of optimisation potentials in the existing accounting processes allows you to make a significant contribution to the continuous development of the digital system landscape within your finance department
  • close collaboration with other specialist departments characterises your day-to-day work when exchanging financial information and providing expert support for important budgeting and forecasting

Requirements

  • Successfully completed training as a tax clerk (m/f/d), financial accountant (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d) forms the solid foundation for this position
  • Your profile as a specialist is characterised by many years of relevant professional experience in German accounting as well as sound knowledge of the common accounting standards according to HGB
  • You are confident in using professional accounting software such as SAP or DATEV as well as advanced knowledge of MS Excel for your daily work
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, quarterly and annual financial statements and you convince with a structured and independent way of working within your new team
  • German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written as well as good English skills are mandatory for you in daily internal and external communication
  • strong analytical skills and your in-depth understanding of complex financial data enable you to precisely prepare important information for the decision-making processes within your management
