Job description

  • You will be responsible for the complete booking of all business transactions in the area of general ledger and subledger accounting for the entire company at the location
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the independent and timely processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable and asset accounting in compliance with current legal regulations
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the regular maintenance of accounts and the reconciliation of all accounts, to ensure a correct data basis for future reporting
  • The professional booking of daily bank and cash transactions is also part of your responsible tasks within the dedicated and competent finance team
  • As part of your job, you will support the preparation and creation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the applicable HGB guidelines
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the operational processing of the special credit note procedures of the well-known automobile manufacturers and will be in close contact with the relevant specialist departments

Requirements

  • You have completed training as a tax clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d) with further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have several years of sound professional experience in financial and asset accounting, ideally gained in a manufacturing company in the modern automotive supply industry
  • You have a sound knowledge of the common SAP modules and are experienced in the use of MS Office programmes
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good basic knowledge of English for occasional communication in an international corporate environment
  • In addition, you have a high degree of reliability and a strong affinity for numbers, in order to always accurately map the complex accounting processes
  • Finally, you are an absolute team player and always work in a structured manner, independently and with a very high standard of your own work quality
