For our client, a medium-sized company in the adhesive tape and adhesive processing industry in Werneuchen, we are looking for you as a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) as part of a direct placement.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the comprehensive processing and detailed analysis of open item lists (open item lists), including the proactive handling of the entire dunning and collection process to ensure that payments are received on time
  • In addition, you will be responsible for carefully carrying out all necessary credit checks and identity checks on your customers:in order to minimise the risk of default and establish a stable business relationship
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the conscientious maintenance of master data and the creation of new customer and vendor accounts directly in the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), to ensure that data is always up-to-date and correct
  • The entire processing of incoming invoices in the accounts payable area, from invoice receipt to final posting, is also part of your daily and responsible tasks
  • As part of your job, you will support international communication with customers to clarify invoice disputes:Within your area of responsibility, you will be responsible for clarifying invoice differences and open items, both in writing and by telephone
  • Finally, you will be responsible for precise invoice verification and the processing of credit notes and invoice changes, as well as the creation and execution of payment proposals in the NAV system

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have at least two years of professional experience in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable, ideally with contact to the annual financial statements
  • You are characterised by your confident knowledge in the use of the MS Office package, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and ideally experience in the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Navision is an advantage
  • Your German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written as well as good knowledge of English are desirable for international correspondence
  • Due to the location of the business park, possession of a car and a valid driving licence is mandatory, to be able to reach your workplace flexibly and reliably
  • Furthermore, you bring a high degree of teamwork and resilience and impress with very good communication skills and excellent written expression
