Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent processing of all financial accounting and ensure the correct recording of all business transactions in compliance with legal requirements
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the processing of daily payment transactions and the monitoring of bank accounts and will conscientiously carry out the regular reconciliation of G/L accounts
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including dunning, and communicate professionally with the supplier:and customers on all accounting issues
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements is also one of your tasks, working closely with commercial management to prepare the documents
  • as part of your role, you will support the optimisation of internal accounting processes and contribute significantly to the high data quality within the finance department through your precise working methods
  • finally, you will be responsible for master data maintenance in the ERP system and ensure complete documentation of all tax-relevant documents for subsequent auditing by external auditors

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) and have sound theoretical knowledge in the field of finance
  • In addition, you have relevant professional experience in the accounting department of an industrial company, which means that you are confident in dealing with double-entry bookkeeping and the applicable accounting regulations
  • You have a sound knowledge of common ERP systems and MS Office applications, especially Excel, and enable you to efficiently process complex accounting data sets
  • Written and spoken German at native speaker level and good English skills for communication in an internationally operating technology company are essential for your daily work
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of reliability and discretion, which are absolutely necessary for the responsible handling of sensitive financial data and internal company information
  • Finally, you are an absolute team player and always work in a structured and goal-oriented manner to ensure that accounting tasks are completed on time even with a high workload
