Job description

  • You will record incoming invoices, outgoing invoices, asset postings and accrual postings in DATEV
  • Account reconciliations and maintenance, cash management and the preparation of statistics and analyses are also part of your area of responsibility
  • You will independently prepare payslips for our employees, determine bonuses, prepare A1 notifications and be the contact person for salary issues
  • You will correspond with health insurance companies, offices and authorities and are responsible for certification and reporting
  • You are the contact person for questions relating to payroll, social security and tax law and for carrying out wage tax and social security audits
  • In the context of preparing the annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), you verify the payroll accounts and determine the personnel provisions - in particular for holidays, overtime, the employers' liability insurance association and the compensation levy for severely disabled persons


Requirements

  • You have completed training as a tax clerk (m/f/d) or comparable training and, at best, further training as a financial or balance sheet accountant (m/f/d)
  • You have several years of professional experience in financial and payroll accounting and payroll accounting (HGB)
  • You have sound knowledge in the preparation of annual financial statements as well as in payroll tax and social security law
  • You are experienced in using the common MS Office programmes and are already confident in using DATEV
  • You have a great affinity for numbers, enjoy recording and implementing new processes and are characterised by a high level of organisational skills and a friendly manner
  • You have a structured and independent way of working
  • You enjoy working in a team and have good communication skills
