- You will be responsible for ensuring production in the responsible production area by ensuring compliance with quality, quantity, deadlines and costs at all times in order to enable a smooth process
- In addition, you will be responsible for comprehensive personnel requirements and deployment planning in a demanding 24/7 shift operation in order to efficiently achieve production targets and make optimum use of bottleneck resources
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for the careful preparation of rosters with a special focus on employee qualifications and the efficient use of resources, to ensure optimal staffing
- Fine planning of orders in terms of personnel capacity, machine allocation and strict adherence to deadlines is also one of your main tasks in order to achieve production targets
- As part of your job, you will support the management of daily production processes and the continuous optimisation of production processes, by systematically identifying and implementing potential for improvement
- Finally, you will be responsible for the early detection and sustainable solution of production problems as well as the organisation of series production and ensuring occupational safety in the entire area
Requirements
- You have completed technical vocational training as an energy electronics technician (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d) as well as an additional qualification as a master craftsman (m/f/d) or technician (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have several years of management experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in the field of surface treatment or painting, as well as experience in the personnel planning of shift operations
- You are characterised by your sound knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications and ideally in special software solutions for shift planning, as these are essential for your daily work
- Written and spoken German at native speaker level and a good command of English for handling international supplier correspondence and negotiations round off your profile
- You show a willingness to work in a demanding 24/7 shift operation
- Furthermore, you have a high level of communication and problem-solving skills, to quickly recognise and resolve production bottlenecks, as well as a confident manner towards employees and management
- Finally, you are assertive and work in a structured and solution-oriented manner to control production processes and ensure compliance with strict quality standards
