Job description

  • You will take full responsibility for the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods, including the monitoring, processing and booking of all processes in the system
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the efficient coordination and control of the dispatch of lorries to ensure a punctual and trouble-free flow of materials
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the conscientious preparation of all necessary shipping documents and the associated EDI files, to ensure correct and smooth shipping
  • Proper inventory management and storage as well as the precise recording of container movements as part of container management are also part of your tasks
  • As part of your job, you support the implementation of inventories in your area of responsibility and ensure correct inventory counting and recording
  • Finally, you are responsible for close cooperation with internal departments as well as external freight forwarders and service providers to enable optimal logistics processing

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d) and ideally have some initial work experience
  • In addition, you have initial work experience in the logistics area of a manufacturing industrial company, ideally with sound knowledge in the creation of shipping documents and delivery notes
  • You have a sound knowledge of common MS Office applications and are familiar with the daily use of an ERP system (e.g. B. SAP or similar) characterise your way of working
  • Your German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written as well as basic English skills for communication with international freight forwarders are required
  • You are a native speaker of German at native speaker level in spoken and written:inside are required
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of resilience and diligence as well as an independent and structured working style in order to be able to work precisely even under deadline pressure
  • Finally, you have a team-oriented personality, are extremely reliable and are willing to work fully in a rolling 3-shift operation
