Job description

  • You are the central interface between the sales force, production and our customers
  • With regular contact with the sales force, you ensure that everyone involved is always informed about current developments
  • In the event of queries about products and technical details, you coordinate with the right contact person:inside
  • Based on customer enquiries, you create individual quotations and liaise closely with production
  • Your day-to-day business includes providing telephone and written support to existing and new customers, always maintaining an overview of open quotations and actively supporting the sales process
  • You maintain and process orders in a structured manner in the ERP system, coordinate delivery times with production and ensure that deadlines are passed on reliably
  • You also take responsibility for organising shipping and documentation and contribute ideas for more efficient processes
  • You support the team in ongoing process optimisation by creating statistics and evaluations, while contributing your own ideas for improving sales

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training, for example as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d); a lateral entry is also possible
  • Experience in internal sales (m/f/d) or in a comparable position is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • With good written English skills and enjoy international correspondence, you actively approach communicative tasks
  • You are confident in using MS Office; Ideally, you are also familiar with an ERP system such as SAP or Sage
  • you are organised and reliable, keep a cool head even in dynamic situations and work independently
