- You will provide IT support in the maintenance, setup and resolution of hardware and software problems at the site
- In addition, you will set up and configure hardware and carry out user and system administration for desktop and local server systems
- You will support IT projects such as rollouts, system implementations and optimisation measures
- In addition, you will install, configure and maintain PCs, servers and peripheral devices as part of system management
- You set up network devices, provide support with network services and look after the production IT systems
- You also develop, maintain and implement IT documentation, guidelines and emergency concepts
- You coordinate the procurement of IT hardware and software, provide support in IT purchasing according to specified parameters
- You also implement quality and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines in the IT area
Requirements
- You have completed training or a degree in the IT sector, e.g. as an IT specialist (m/f/d), system administrator (m/f/d) or in computer science
- In addition, you have professional experience in system or network administration
- You have experience with network technology such as switches, routers, firewalls and IT security concepts
- You have in-depth knowledge of Windows and/or Linux systems
- You are proficient in desktop management and monitoring tools
- You have experience in working with Microsoft O/S. servers and desktop systems, servers and desktop systems
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP will stand you in good stead
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills characterise you
- Your working style is analytical, structured and solution-oriented
