• You will be fully responsible for the smooth running of global, operational network operations and use your in-depth technical expertise to ensure a highly available and high-performance IT infrastructure for all locations at all times
• You will actively contribute your comprehensive expertise to strategic planning, installation and configuration of modern network components as well as in the continuous maintenance of complex firewalls, switches and routing technologies
• You provide competent support in the detailed analysis and sustainable elimination of complex faults as part of 2nd and 3rd level support, to ensure maximum performance of the global systems
• With the help of innovative scripts and modern tools, you consistently drive forward the automation of network processes, thereby significantly and sustainably increasing the efficiency of internal operating processes and global standardisation
• You create complete documentation of the network topologies and conscientiously maintain applicable standards, to create maximum transparency for all interfaces involved and for future IT projects in the company
• In the context of demanding IT projects, you will support the implementation of new services in the network area and proactively advise internal departments on the technical implementation of their individual requirements according to modern New Work concepts

• You have successfully completed your studies with a focus on computer science or network technology or have a comparable qualification with sound theoretical and practical expertise
• You have several years of professional experience as a network engineer, manage complex infrastructures securely and deal with technical issues confidently and in a solution-oriented manner in an international environment
• You have in-depth specialist knowledge and relevant certifications in dealing with well-known manufacturers such as Cisco, Fortinet or Check Point and are also experienced in the use of Microsoft Azure
• Sure knowledge of common protocols such as TCP/IP, VLAN and VPN as well as sound experience in using monitoring tools such as ISE, WLC or PRTG for system monitoring
• Written and spoken German at a native speaker level and fluency in English are essential for your daily communication within the globally active group of companies and with external partners
• You have a valid work permit for Germany and a permanent residence in Germany
• You are characterised by your strong initiative and willingness to travel worldwide, as well as your strong ability to work in a team and a professional, service-oriented way of working, service-orientated way of working towards all internal customers
