Job description

  • You will provide full support in the entire logistics management and ensure the smooth running of all operational and administrative core processes in day-to-day business
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the precise recording and coordination of customer orders as well as the timely preparation and conscientious checking of all necessary delivery notes and accompanying documents
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring of logistics processes and intervene proactively in the event of deviations, to ensure high delivery quality for customers at all times
  • You will also be responsible for technical communication with the warehouse staff, acting as a central interface to ensure an optimal flow of information between the office and the transshipment centre
  • As part of your role, you will support the general administration and maintain the master data in the system, to ensure complete documentation of goods movements and inventories
  • Finally, you will be responsible for preparing shipping documents and assisting with stocktaking and optimising existing processes within your area of responsibility

Requirements

  • You have completed training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d) as well as specialised further training
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in a logistics environment or in the transport industry, which enables you to to grasp complex interrelationships in order processing confidently and independently
  • You have a sound knowledge of the common MS Office applications and how to use modern merchandise management systems and these skills form the basis for your efficient daily work
  • Written and spoken German at native speaker level and a clear manner of expression are essential for internal coordination and communication with customers
  • In addition, you have a high level of organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure, in order to always maintain an overview of the logistics processes involved even in times of high workload
  • Finally, you are an absolute team player and always work reliably and in a structured manner, with your eye for detail contributing to a continuous improvement in logistics quality
