Job description

  • You will be responsible for managing all customer orders according to the individual urgency within the operational processes to ensure a smooth and efficient flow in the warehouse
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring of picking and the proper packaging of the goods in stock according to the specific requirements of the respective orders
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the precise allocation of materials to the defined picking and packing areas, to ensure optimal provision of the goods for further dispatch at all times
  • The identification of part numbers without stored packing instructions is also one of your tasks, where you proactively report deviations in batch sizes or short-term order changes to the relevant departments
  • as part of your job, you support the timely dispatch of customer orders by seamlessly documenting all process steps and thus ensuring compliance with the agreed delivery deadlines
  • finally, you are responsible for the precise tracking of parts withdrawals from stock and provide the operational team with advice on systemic problems in the daily workflow

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed training as a forwarding and logistics services specialist (m/f/d), warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in operations management or a comparable area of logistics, in order to have a reliable overview of the complex processes in operations
  • You are characterised by your solid knowledge of the common MS Office applications and sound user experience in SAP, enabling you to efficiently process daily system tasks
  • Written and spoken German at native speaker level and a good basic knowledge of English are essential for communication within the international logistics structures and documentation
  • In addition, you have a high degree of flexibility and a strong ability to work in a team in order to achieve the set goals together with your colleagues, even in dynamic phases:
