Job description

  • You will be responsible for precisely analysing current material requirements and carrying out strategic material requirements planning to ensure smooth and efficient production at the site at all times
  • In addition, you will be responsible for providing daily purchasing requirements and well-founded forecasts to the local purchasing team, to guarantee a continuous supply of all required raw materials
  • Furthermore, you will oversee the availability of all raw materials in accordance with the applicable production plans and independently coordinate all necessary steps in the event of any deviations or short-term bottlenecks within the supply chain
  • Analysing complex inventory and consumption data with the aim of and consumption data with the aim of sustainably reducing costs and generally increasing efficiency in the logistics processes is also part of your daily tasks
  • As part of your role, you will support the implementation of detailed root cause analyses for supply bottlenecks or excess stock, to proactively identify and implement optimisation potential in warehousing and procurement

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in economics or comparable training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have at least three years of relevant professional experience in materials planning or operational purchasing within a manufacturing company, ideally with sound knowledge of the food industry
  • You are characterised by your confident knowledge of modern MRP systems and a strong affinity for IT, You can confidently analyse data and derive targeted planning measures from it
  • Written and spoken German at native speaker level and a good command of English for daily communication in an international corporate environment are a mandatory requirement for this responsible position
  • In addition, you have a high degree of assertiveness and strong communication skills across different hierarchical levels, to organise internal processes and coordination professionally and efficiently at all times
