Job description

  • You will be responsible for carrying out tactile measurements on complex series parts and prototypes using state-of-the-art Wenzel 3D coordinate measuring machines of the types LH1010 and LH1210
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the professional setup and set-up of the measuring machines and independently select the optimum probes and measuring strategies for the components
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the creation and continuous optimisation of individual test programs with the Quartis software, to ensure precise verification of the component specifications at all times
  • The evaluation and detailed documentation of all measurement results, including the creation of initial sample test reports and proof of capability, are also part of your daily tasks in quality management
  • As part of your work, you will support the analysis of dimensional deviations as well as the cause analyse dimensional deviations and investigate their causes and initiate effective corrective measures for quality assurance together with Production
  • Finally, you will be responsible for maintaining the measurement data in the systems and ensure the long-term operational readiness and precision of all test equipment used by regularly monitoring the measuring equipment

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or precision mechanic (m/f/d) and must have successfully completed further training as a technician (m/f/d) specialising in machine technology
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in tactile 3D metrology as well as in the safe handling of Wenzel coordinate measuring machines and the associated Quartis software solution for programming
  • Your confident knowledge in the interpretation of technical drawings and CAD data and your deep understanding of the current ISO-GPS standards for form and position tolerances characterise you

  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a basic knowledge of English for working with technical documentation and system interfaces
  • In addition, you have a high level of quality awareness and a structured and very careful way of working, in order to fulfil the high precision requirements in production at all times
  • Finally, you are prepared to work in a staggered shift model and impress with your ability to work in a team and strong communication skills in exchange with the adjacent specialist departments
