- You are responsible for the maintenance and repair of traction units and their components, always observing the applicable regulations as well as general and operational safety regulations
- When assessing damage patterns, you expertly estimate repair and downtimes
- After inspections, you analyse results and derive suitable preventive measures to improve service life
- As part of operational emergency management, you are on call
- Disruptions, irregularities and anomalies and initiate the necessary remedial measures, especially in the event of potential hazards
Requirements
- You have successfully completed training in a recognised technical apprenticeship, e.g. as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) with a standard training period of at least 3 years
- Ideally, you have professional experience in the railway sector, preferably in locomotive maintenance
- You are fit for operational service in accordance with § 48 EBO or VDV 714
- You have a class B driving licence, which enables you to work on mobile assignments
- Sure written and spoken German skills enable you to communicate and document clearly
- A valid work permit is part of your portfolio
- You carry out your tasks in a responsible, reliable and structured manner
