Job description

  • You will be responsible for the monthly preparation of payroll accounting for a defined group of employees and payroll accounting for a defined group of employees, taking into account all applicable legal provisions
  • In addition, you are responsible for the continuous maintenance and timely updating of all personnel master data and payroll-relevant data in your area of responsibility
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for the implementation of all necessary legal notifications to social security institutions and tax authorities and ensure compliance with all reporting deadlines at all times
  • The answering of complex employee enquiries on all topics of payroll accounting as well as wage tax and social security law is also part of your daily tasks
  • You are responsible for the preparation of the monthly payroll accounting for a defined group of employees, taking into account all applicable legal provisions
  • In addition, you are responsible for the continuous maintenance and timely updating of all personnel master data and payroll-relevant data in your area of responsibility and social security law are also part of your daily tasks
  • As part of your work, you will support the optimisation of internal processes in HR and work closely and constructively with the specialist departments and external partners
  • Finally, you will be responsible for preparing company audits by the pension insurance providers or the tax office and providing all the necessary documents in a structured manner

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), tax clerk (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d) with further training as a payroll accountant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in operational payroll accounting as well as in the support of personnel bases within a dynamic and modern corporate environment
  • You have a sound knowledge of common accounting software such as DATEV or SAP as well as an experienced handling of MSOffice applications characterise your daily work
  • Written and spoken German at native speaker level is essential for legally compliant correspondence with authorities and advising customers and employees:and employees
