Job description

  • You will be responsible for monthly payroll accounting for employees, civil servants, trainees and interns:and ensure correct processing at all times
  • The application of collective agreements such as TVöD/TV-L, including grouping, step durations and bonuses, falls independently within your area of responsibility
  • You reliably maintain personnel master data and time recording data in the IT systems, for example SAP HCM or KIDICAP
  • You will conscientiously prepare and submit contribution statements for health insurance companies, wage tax returns to the tax office and social security notifications
  • You will issue work certificates and remuneration certificates for authorities and social security institutions in a timely manner
  • You will competently advise colleagues and managers:You provide competent advice to employees and managers on all matters relating to payroll accounting, payroll tax and social security
  • You supervise audits by pension insurance providers and tax offices and ensure smooth cooperation

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training, for example as an office administrator (m/f/d), payroll accountant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or HR clerk (m/f/d)
  • You have several years of professional experience in payroll accounting as well as initial experience in payroll accounting
  • You are characterised by a client- and solution-oriented way of thinking and working
  • Ideally, you have already acquired knowledge of a payroll accounting programme
  • Good MS Office skills make your everyday work easier
  • An open attitude towards new challenges, reliability, a good understanding of numbers, accuracy and adherence to deadlines characterise your working style
