Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent and timely preparation, processing and control of monthly payroll accounting for all employees via an external data centre
  • In addition, you will be responsible for all communication with health insurance companies, social security institutions and tax offices, social insurance institutions and tax offices and ensure compliance with all statutory reporting deadlines
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation and technical support of payroll tax and social security audits, working closely with the external auditing bodies
  • Providing technical advice to employees and managers on issues relating to HR, payroll and labour law, accounting and labour law issues are also part of your daily tasks
  • As part of your job, you will support the precise preparation of travel expense reports for the entire team, taking into account current tax law requirements
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the maintenance of time management and the operational administration of personnel files and organise all HR-relevant topics in day-to-day business

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) and further training as a payroll accountant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in payroll accounting and operational personnel support within an industrial company or a comparable structure
  • You have a sound knowledge of common payroll systems and MS Office applications.applications characterise you and enable you to handle all processes efficiently
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German as well as a precise way of expressing yourself for legally compliant correspondence with authorities and customers
