Job description

  • You will be responsible for preparing monthly payroll accounting, including the associated correspondence, for a defined group of employees in strict compliance with all legal requirements
  • In addition, you will be responsible for comprehensive processing and technical advice on company pension schemes, partial retirement models and the processing of the entire company pension scheme
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the implementation of the complete reporting system in all pay-related issues to social security institutions, social security institutions, tax authorities and other institutions as part of your day-to-day HR work
  • Auditing and processing invoices as well as operational contract management, including the creation of various complex contract letters and agreements, are also part of your varied and responsible tasks
  • As part of your role, you will support the team in the area of applicant management and be responsible for the conscientious maintenance and digital administration of electronic personnel files
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of statistics, personnel cost planning and the creation of provisions and provide valuable input for the annual financial statements

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) with further training as a payroll accountant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have several years of sound professional experience in independent payroll accounting and in the field of company pension schemes and have in-depth expert knowledge of tax law
  • You have a sound knowledge of common accounting systems such as DATEV or SAP and are experienced in using the MS Office package applications, Excel in particular, characterise you professionally
  • You have a good command of German at native speaker level, both written and spoken, and you communicate confidently with authorities and your colleagues:
  • Furthermore, you bring a high degree of discretion in dealing with sensitive personnel data, a pronounced reliability as well as a proactive and solution-oriented way of thinking to your team
  • Finally, you are a strong communicator and organisational talent and always work in a structured, detailed manner and never lose track of your administrative processes, even with a high workload
