- You will help create casting moulds from various materials, often sand, or set up existing moulds for the casting process
- You will also operate melting furnaces, to melt metals and alloys and bring them to the correct processing temperature
- You fill the molten metals into the prepared casting moulds and monitor the casting process
- After the metal has solidified, you remove the cast parts from the moulds and, if necessary, carry out further processing steps such as deburring or further processing steps such as deburring or blasting
- You monitor the production process and ensure that the cast parts meet the quality requirements
Requirements
- As a career changer (m/f/d) you are very welcome
- Ideally you have professional experience in a foundry or similar field of work
- You have a good command of spoken German
- You can score points with a crane licence
- You show a willingness to work in shifts and overtime
- You are reliable, motivated and enjoy working in a team
- independence, flexibility and an energetic approach to work speak in your favour
- a valid work permit rounds off your profile
