For our client, a medium-sized company specialising in materials testing and technical quality assurance in Vogelsberg, we are looking for you as a Project Assistant (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment contract with a takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for professionally accepting orders and advising customers by telephone
  • In your role, you will prepare precise quotations and ensure that all invoices for your projects are processed promptly
  • You will conscientiously prepare technical work orders to enable your colleagues to carry out the testing processes smoothly
  • You will proactively coordinate efficient appointment management for your colleagues in the field:

  • the recording of inspection-relevant data in the internal systems is part of your daily, quality-orientated area of responsibility in your new position
  • thanks to your friendly manner on the phone, you always represent the engineering office professionally to your customers and external partners

Requirements

  • A successfully completed vocational qualification as a commercial clerk (m/f/d) for office management (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office communication specialist (m/f/d)
  • Ideally, you have already gained sound professional experience in commercial processing or office organisation in your previous career in a technical environment
  • You are confident in using the common MS Office programs for your daily correspondence
  • You will use your first knowledge of the DATEV software to support your colleagues in preparatory accounting:
  • You use your German language skills at native speaker level for your daily professional communication
  • A structured way of working and a pronounced service orientation characterise your personality in the daily exchange with your new team
