• You will be responsible for the system design of fire extinguishing systems such as sprinkler systems, CO₂ extinguishing systems, Ansul fire extinguishing systems and Novec gas extinguishing systems
• You will independently determine system requirements, carry out calculations and select suitable components
• create order specifications for components and pass these on to suppliers
• coordinate the creation of system diagrams closely with the design department and manage the process
• check our customers' coordination drawings for correct technical implementation
• build parts lists, carefully maintain them in the ERP system and give technical approvals for the order call-off
• As a technical contact, you accompany the assembly phase for internal teams and external partners
• You support project managers with status reports on technical processing and project progress

• You will have a degree or a qualification as a technician/master craftsman (m/f/d) in the field of mechanical engineering, marine engineering or a comparable qualification
• First experience in the project planning and design of technical systems - ideally in the shipbuilding or maritime environment
• Good knowledge in the design of fire extinguishing systems as well as in the relevant standards and guidelines is desirable
• Confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, PSI) makes your day-to-day business easier
• good written and spoken English skills enable you to communicate in an international environment
• with very good written and spoken German skills, you are able to reliably understand and create technical documents
• A valid work permit and residence in Germany ensure that you can take on your tasks without restriction
• An independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working characterises you and ensures efficient project implementation
