Job description

  • You take care of requests for articles and services and ensure that all the necessary information is available
  • You prepare the quotations independently, so that the decision-makers receive a clear comparison of offers
  • You ensure a smooth purchasing process by carrying out the orders
  • You conduct price negotiations with the suppliers in coordination with your team leader and use your negotiating skills
  • You regularly check the backorder list or the delivery date list, so that you are informed about the status of deliveries at all times
  • In the event of complaints, you demonstrate your solution-oriented approach and process them quickly and effectively
  • You ensure coordination with the requesting departments regarding delivery dates and availability with clear and transparent communication
  • If internal customers require advice on prices and quantities for orders, you provide them with competent support, you provide them with competent support

Requirements

  • You have completed your commercial vocational training, for example as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), or have a comparable qualification
  • You communicate confidently in written and spoken German and English
  • You find it easy to use standard Microsoft Office applications in your day-to-day work
  • Your diligence and sense of responsibility are reflected in every task, while your ability to work in a team, willingness to learn and commitment show that you can provide reliable support
  • You have a good command of German and a valid work permit
