Job description

  • You ensure that material is available in accordance with the project requirements in terms of quality, deadlines and commercial aspects
  • You obtain and carefully evaluate quotations in order to achieve the best conditions
  • You organise the maintenance and management of the stock in such a way that the WIP is minimised, without jeopardising availability
  • You pass on obligations from the customer contract as completely and efficiently as possible
  • You clarify technical and contractual interfaces in coordination with the respective specifications
  • You initiate procurement processes independently and see them through to completion
  • You prepare contracts (standard and annual call-off orders)call-off orders) are prepared and executed
  • You recognise delivery bottlenecks at an early stage and actively work to prevent or eliminate them
  • Your involvement in change and claim management ensures smoothmanagement ensures smooth processes for project adjustments
  • You are involved in the selection of suppliers in accordance with the process description and contribute your expertise
  • You prepare KPIs for supplier evaluation and analyse them together with the Head of Production


Requirements

  • With a completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g. as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d), forwarding agent (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification, you have the necessary basic knowledge
  • profound professional experience in purchasing makes it easier for you to get started in our processes
  • very good knowledge of the common MS Office applications you use routinely in day-to-day business
