Job description

  • You will be responsible for operational procurement and triggering orders and will also carry out qualified bid comparisons and detailed evaluations of your strategic suppliers:
  • In addition, you are responsible for the entire supplier management including the generation of deadlines and take over the professional processing of all complaints in the event of possible delays or qualitative defects
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for the conscientious maintenance of all master data in the system and prepare legally compliant contracts for cooperation while at the same time checking all incoming invoices
  • The close interface function between production, the warehouse and the accounting department is also part of your tasks to ensure a smooth and needs-based material supply at all times
  • as part of your job, you will support the identification of sustainable savings potential through skilful price negotiations and thus make a significant contribution to economic cost optimisation within the entire company

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade management clerk (m/f/d) including further commercial training
  • In addition, you have at least three years of sound professional experience in the field of operational procurement or materials management, ideally within a manufacturing company in the food industry

  • You have German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written for communication with suppliers:as well as for the precise preparation of contracts and documentation

  • Finally, you are an absolute organisational talent and always work in a structured and solution-oriented manner in order to keep a cool head and an overview at all times, even with time-critical delivery deadlines
