For our client, a medium-sized company in the workplace systems and logistics solutions sector in Velbert, we are looking for you as a Sales Clerk (m/f/d) as part of direct placement.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent preparation of quotations and orders and ensure the smooth handling of ongoing sales processes by consistently following up on all deadlines
  • In addition, you will be responsible for continuous lead tracking from the first incoming enquiry to the final decision and act as a central interface for the concerns of the various customers:
  • In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating all relevant master data in the integrated ERP system, taking particular account of the applicable Incoterms and all necessary export-relevant information for international goods traffic
  • The preparation of regular reports and detailed analyses for the sales management is also part of your tasks, to ensure a transparent basis for strategic decisions in sales
  • as part of your role, you will support the optimisation of internal processes by scrutinising existing processes and actively making suggestions to increase efficiency across the entire internal sales team
  • finally, you will be responsible for professional communication with external partnersinternal departments and ensure a high level of satisfaction among all stakeholders involved through your service-orientated approach

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management clerk (m/f/d) or wholesale and foreign trade management clerk (m/f/d) as well as specialised further training
  • In addition, you have at least two to four years of relevant professional experience in internal sales, which you have ideally successfully gained in a manufacturing industrial company or a comparable environment
  • You are characterised by your confident knowledge of the common MS 365 applications and your sound experience in using the ERP system SAP Business One in your daily work
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a fluent command of English, to communicate confidently and professionally with international customers at all times
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of initiative and a pronounced ability to structure, which enables you to always maintain an overview even in complex tasks
  • Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work very carefully and solution-oriented in order to successfully implement the high quality standards of our customer in daily contact with customers
