Job description

  • You will be responsible for providing professional advice and support to passengers and actively selling tickets and season tickets directly at our client's local sales point
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the administrative processing of customer enquiries regarding timetables and fares, always ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction:
  • In addition, you will be responsible for cash management, including daily accounting and documentation of sales revenue in compliance with all internal auditing requirements and the company's commercial guidelines
  • Support with master data maintenance and the processing of refund requests and complaints in day-to-day operations.
  • As part of your role, you will support the organisation of special transport services and maintain the relevant information media for passengers at the central contact points on site
  • Finally, you will be responsible for general correspondence with customers:and contribute significantly to the positive public image of the transport company through your friendly demeanour

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), retail sales assistant (m/f/d) or dialogue marketing assistant (m/f/d) in your career
  • In addition, you have initial sound professional experience in customer service or sales, ideally with a connection to the transport industry or a comparable service-oriented working environment
  • You are characterised in your daily work by your confident knowledge of the common MS Office applications as well as in dealing with modern cash register systems and specialist software for calculating fares
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German as well as a clear and precise way of expressing yourself on the phone to communicate with customers:
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of service orientation and strong communication skills and always remain friendly, confident and absolutely customer-oriented in your way of working, even in stressful situations
  • Finally, you are a reliable team player with a structured way of working and impress with your well-groomed appearance as well as your high degree of time flexibility within our customer's shift models
