For our client, a medium-sized company for automatic door and entrance systems in Wuppertal, we are looking for you as Sales Manager Commercial Construction (m/f/d) as part of a direct placement.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for creating and securing product specifications for various commercial construction projects in close coordination with architects, planners, investors and general contractors
  • In addition, you will be responsible for building and maintaining resilient relationships with key decision makers such as property developers, project developers and metalworking companies
  • Furthermore, you will manage project opportunities from the early planning phase to final execution to ensure the implementation of customised security solutions:and metalworking companies

  • Active marketing of the entire portfolio of automatic doors and security systems, taking accessibility and functionality into account, is also part of your role

  • Finally, you will be responsible for monitoring the market with regard to competitive activities and regulatory developments in order to identify new market opportunities and risks at an early stage

Requirements

  • You have a degree in civil engineering (m/f/d), industrial engineer (m/f/d) or in a comparable field of building technology
  • you also have sound professional experience in specification sales or business development within the construction or building technology industry
  • you are characterised by your confident knowledge of common CRM systems and the use of project databases such as IBAU
  • you have a native level of German and a fluent command of English, to ensure smooth communication with all international stakeholders:
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of communication and negotiation skills to confidently present complex solutions to customers
  • Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work in an extremely structured and goal-oriented manner to implement the specified sales and project goals
  • In addition to your professional expertise, you will also have a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany
