• You will be responsible for the administration and support of Citrix environments, as well as the provision of applications
• Your tasks will include setting up, managing and optimising the virtual infrastructure (VMWare)
• You will monitor the maintenance of the hardware in the data centre and ensure the smooth and secure operation of the devices
• You will be responsible for the administration and optimisation of storage solutions, data backup and data availability in the storage systems
• You are responsible for the operation and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers and take care of troubleshooting
• You are also responsible for our customer's database infrastructure, including operation and maintenance, as well as data backup and recovery measures
• Your tasks also include central monitoring, i.e. setting up, monitoring and further development for performance and system analysis

• You have a degree in computer science, a completed training as an IT specialist in system integration (m/f/d) or comparable
• You also have several years of professional experience in IT system administration and are familiar with Citrix, Terminal Services and central monitoring
• You have knowledge of networking with VMWare and virtualisation
• In your career to date, you have gained experience in the operation and management of data centres as well as with server and storage systems and databases, and backup solutions
• You are a strong communicator, work independently and are a team player
• Your profile is rounded off by business fluent German (at least C1 level)
