Job description

  • You will plan and implement complex civil engineering projects independently, managing the entire process from initial quotation processing to work preparation and work calculation
  • In addition, you will supervise both new construction and demanding repair work on retaining structures and reinforced concrete bridges, which will be carried out on schedule under the particular challenge of ongoing railway operations
  • Furthermore, you will take full responsibility for ensuring that your projects are implemented in a high-quality and cost-conscious manner, that your projects are realised in a high-quality and cost-conscious manner and ensure that all agreed schedules are adhered to
  • You are responsible for the personnel of your team of three to seven employees, manage them competently and also coordinate the subcontractors and the corresponding service awards
  • As part of your job, you are responsible for the scheduling of large-scale technology and materials and check incoming invoices for correct billing of the construction projects
  • Finally, you are responsible for active claims management and ensure optimal economic implementation of the civil engineering projects entrusted to you through your structured way of working

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering and have sound theoretical expertise in the management of challenging projects in structural engineering
  • In addition, you have relevant professional experience as a site manager (m/f/d) or project manager (m/f/d) and have sound knowledge of current construction law and VOB
  • You are confident in using construction-specific software and the common MS Office applications.applications characterise you in your daily work and in digital project management
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German, to be able to communicate with customers and authorities in a professional and legally compliant manner at all times
  • Furthermore, you are willing to travel within Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Hamburg and Saxony and use the pool car provided to you for this purpose
  • Finally, you are a structured and goal-oriented personality and are characterised by a high degree of independence and competence in leading your team
