For our client Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH, a world-leading, listed technology company in the defence industry in Unterlüß, we are looking for you as a skilled worker in ammunition production (m/f/d) as part of the temporary employment with takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for operating and monitoring technical equipment, machines and systems to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing process in ammunition production and to achieve production targets
  • In addition, you will be responsible for feeding machines and systems and ensuring a constant supply of materials so that production can continue without interruption
  • You will also be responsible for closely monitoring machine operation, to detect malfunctions at an early stage in order to minimise downtimes and increase productivity
  • Your tasks also include quickly and effectively rectifying minor malfunctions on the machines and repairing faults, to ensure high plant availability
  • As part of your job, you will support the removal of finished products and their proper packaging and storage so that they are ready for further transport
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the precise control and monitoring of process sequences and the implementation of production and quality controls in order to guarantee high product quality standards

Requirements

  • You have completed technical vocational training as a cutting machine operator (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or machine and plant operator (m/f/d) and have a comparable qualification
  • In addition, you have a strong technical understanding that enables you to operate and monitor the complex systems and machines
  • You are characterised by your good written and spoken German skills, as these are essential for communicating with colleagues and supervisors in shift operation:
  • Finally, you are willing to work shifts to support fully continuous production and have a clean criminal record, which is essential for working in a safety-relevant environment
  • Furthermore, you have a very good willingness to perform and the ability to work independently and in a team to achieve production targets together
