- As a competent support for the local professionals, you will take on important tasks in various inpatient facilities, depending on your assignment and personal focus, such as kindergartens, daycare centres and after-school care centres, children's and youth homes, workshops for the disabled or care homes
- You ensure a regular daily routine and provide holistic support to your protégés in the challenges and adventures of their everyday lives
- In addition, you not only encourage meaningful leisure pursuits and activities, but also develop creative solutions to combat the boredom of your protégés
- depending on the area of work, you will always be available for counselling sessions
- you will also carry out organisational and administrative work, while maintaining a lively exchange with specialist staff, parents, guardians and other people, institutions and providers involved
Requirements
- You have completed training as a social assistant (m/f/d), socio-educational assistant (m/f/d), paediatric nurse (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- Your knowledge base is solid and your passion for educational and supportive work is boundless
- A strong sense of responsibility and risk awareness are part of your nature. You are ready to work out the best for your protégés and accompany them safely and securely in their everyday lives
- Your communication skills and empathetic approach are your superpowers. You know how to adapt to the individual needs of your clients, to support and inspire them
