For our client, a large energy technology company in Berlin, we are looking for you as a Specialist Spare Parts Logistics (m/f/d) as part of the temporary employment with takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for reviewing customer specifications with regard to spare parts in order to identify all reliability requirements and availability criteria at an early stage of the project
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the creation and continuous review of an individual spare parts concept, which you tailor specifically to the various reference designs and the corresponding modules
  • In addition, you are responsible for maintaining the standard spare parts lists and material master data and actively participate in the development of efficient processes for technical and commercial spare parts management
  • Coordination with the technical project manager and close cooperation with RAM specialists are also part of your tasks, to validate the initial stock of required spare parts
  • As part of your role, you will support the engineering teams as well as purchasing and logistics in ensuring the technical requirements are met when identifying and ordering all parts
  • Finally, you will be responsible for monitoring the actual stock levels during the term of service contracts and ensuring the contractually agreed availability for customers by placing reorders in good time

Requirements

  • You have completed a university degree in industrial engineering (m/f/d), mechanical engineer (m/f/d) or process engineer (m/f/d) or have a comparable qualification in the technical field
  • In addition, you have at least three to five years of professional experience in product design or product service with a clear focus on spare parts management and operational inventory control
  • You have a solid knowledge of common ITapplications such as MS Office 365 as well as sound experience in using SAP and PCM systems to analyse material master data
  • You have an advanced level of English for daily communication in an international environment and an advantageous knowledge of German for coordination within the regional organisational teams
  • In addition, you have a high level of communication and social skills, to successfully integrate yourself into a multicultural and cross-regional work team and to support it professionally
  • Finally, you are a motivated organisational talent with strong problem-solving skills and always work independently and reliably both in agile teams and in an international matrix organisation
