Job description

  • You will develop and implement company-wide sustainability strategies and targets and set up central structures for long-term success
  • You will be responsible for collecting, analysing and reporting sustainability data for all areas of the company
  • You will monitor and analyse the environmental and social impact of business activities, to identify improvements
  • In dialogue with the climate team, you will moderate meetings, prioritise measures and prepare the basis for decision-making
  • Establish and manage an internal sustainability network with site ambassadors:
  • You will coordinate sustainability projects and initiatives across departments
  • You will ensure compliance with all relevant environmental laws and regulations
  • You will ensure that all relevant environmental laws andregulations
  • You proactively identify and manage sustainability risks
  • The organisation and implementation of training courses and workshops on sustainability topics strengthen company-wide awareness and commitment
  • You identify potential for increasing energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions and support their implementation
  • You prepare annual carbon footprints in accordance with the GHGprotocol for all locations and evaluate existing measures
  • Your tasks also include carrying out the required energy audit in accordance with DIN EN 16247-1 and setting up and introducing a management system (EMAS or ISO 50001)
  • legal provisions, funding programmes and technical developments in the field of climate protection and sustainability
  • you will take on special project-related tasks flexibly as required

Requirements

  • You have a degree (e.g. sustainability management sustainability management, business administration, environmental technology, industrial engineering) or a comparable qualification
  • You have in-depth knowledge of common sustainability and ESG standards
  • Ideally, you have professional experience in the environmental and sustainability sector as well as in-service training on integrated management systems
  • MS Office skills are available, Experience with Power BI is desirable
  • You have a good command of written and spoken German and a valid work permit
  • You are characterised by assertiveness, professional communication skills and moderation skills
  • Initiative, independence, a sense of responsibility and organisational strength are central to your tasks
  • Cross-divisional, integrative work is easy for you and you have a high degree of assertiveness
