• You will be responsible for the mechanical engineering 3D spatial coordination of complex pipelines and fittings within the Teamcenter PLM environment using the Siemens NX design software
• In addition, you will be responsible for the professional creation and design modification of the required screw and welded brackets in the Teamcenter PLM and Siemens NX systems
• In addition, you will consistently observe the regulations applicable to this specific area in all your activities, technical guidelines as well as the applicable quality and safety standards
• Cross-departmental consultation and intensive problem solving with system house owners, the facility, equipment and shipbuilding are also part of your daily tasks
• as part of your work, you will support the optimisation of internal design processes and contribute to the efficient design of digital product life cycles within the existing system landscape
• you will also support the documentation creation for the respective assemblies and ensure complete traceability of all design changes in the Teamcenter
• Finally, you are responsible for the timely provision of production documents and ensure the technical feasibility of your designs in close coordination with production

• You have completed training as a technical system planner (m/f/d), design engineer (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d) with further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) specialising in mechanical engineering
• In addition, you have at least three years of sound professional experience in CAD design, ideally gained in a shipyard environment or in demanding industrial plant construction
• Your solid knowledge of Siemens NX, Teamcenter PLM, Microsoft Office and Auto-CAD as well as shipyard-specific IT skills are what make you particularly suitable for this position
• Your German language skills at native speaker level, both written and spoken, as well as good English skills for communication in an international project environment are essential for this position
• In addition, you have a high level of communication skills and strong interface skills, to successfully interact with various specialist departments and external partners
• Finally, you are an absolute team player and always work in a goal-oriented, structured manner and with a high level of awareness of the complex technical requirements in the maritime sector
• In addition to your technical expertise, you must be a citizen of an EU or NATO member state and have a permanent residence in Germany to fulfil this responsible position
