Job description

  • You are responsible for the approval, auditing and further development of series suppliers and ensure that quality and process standards are met
  • You have overarching responsibility for various product groups in the procurement processes and manage them holistically
  • You coordinate and consolidate operational material requirements and ensure efficient supply to production
  • You continuously analyse the procurement market, carry out tenders and compare prices, to achieve the best possible conditions
  • you develop the existing supplier portfolio and build long-term, efficient partnerships
  • you negotiate framework agreements with confidence, you take on contract and risk management and establish binding standards
  • you analyse and optimise the material supply concept, taking into account the production processes
  • you play an active role in strategic topics such as contract management, budget monitoring, process optimisation and compliance
  • you reliably maintain data in the ERP system and provide support with general administrative tasks

Requirements

  • You have a degree in technical or business administration, e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or business administration with a technical focus, or a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in technical purchasing and are confident in applying your knowledge
  • You have sound knowledge of the procurement of technical components, materials and services
  • You are confident and experienced in using ERP systems
  • Knowledge of contract law, in supplier management and cost analysis are part of your profile
  • You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
  • You are reliable, committed and responsible and impress with your structured and solution-orientated way of working
