- You will be responsible for the independent and needs-based procurement of materials within the product groups assigned to you, such as hydraulic components and various standard and standardised parts for production
- In addition, you will be responsible for obtaining, the detailed comparison and technical evaluation of quotations as well as supporting strategic price negotiations
- In addition, you are responsible for monitoring order confirmations and delivery deadlines and proactively initiating appropriate measures to ensure material availability in the event of any deviations
- Coordinating the technical coordination for drawing-based items between the suppliers and our items between the suppliers and our technical office is also one of your central tasks
- As part of your job, you will support the processing of complaints and returns in close coordination with internal quality assurance to ensure high standards

Requirements
- You have completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or technical product designer (m/f/d) with further training as a technical specialist (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have several years of professional experience in the operational purchasing department of an industrial company, whereby sound knowledge of mechanical engineering is ideal for this position
- You are confident in the use of MS Office and a common ERP system, preferably SAP Business One, characterise you in your daily work
- You have a native level of written and spoken German and a solid command of English for professional communication with your international suppliers and partners
- Furthermore, you have a high level of technical understanding of drawings in the field of machining and welding technology as well as strong communication skills for negotiations
- Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work in an absolutely structured manner at all times, reliably and independently to achieve the specified departmental targets in Purchasing
