Job description

  • You will be responsible for operational support in the technical purchasing of various materials as well as specific components and services, taking into account costs and quality
  • In addition, you will be responsible for obtaining quotations and the subsequent preparation of price comparisons as well as the preparatory evaluation of various alternative offers for the purchasing management
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for correspondence with suppliers by telephone and in writing and ensure compliance with the specified delivery dates and a smooth supply of materials at all times
  • The monitoring of delivery dates and the consistent tracking of complaints as well as the documentation of processes in the system are also part of your daily tasks
  • As part of your job, you will support the maintenance of master data within the ERP system and thus ensure the correctness ofsystem and thus ensure the accuracy of all stored prices and the corresponding delivery conditions for the specialist departments
  • Finally, you are responsible for preparing supplier meetings and actively work on optimising internal processes in the area of procurement and material logistics


Requirements

  • You have successfully completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d) as well as further technical training in the commercial field
  • In addition, you have initial professional experience in purchasing in a manufacturing company, ideally with a focus on technical components or products from the electrical or metal industry
  • You have a sound knowledge of the common MS Office applications and initial experience in using an ERP system for the efficient processing of ordering processes
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a clear manner of expression on the phone for professional communication with external suppliers:inside
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of organisational skills and a careful way of working in order to always carry out the diverse tasks in technical purchasing in a structured and reliable manner
  • Finally, you are a real team player and convince with your friendly manner as well as your motivation to familiarise yourself with new technical topics within our customer company
