Job description


  • You will be responsible for carefully accepting complaints from technical teams and checking them comprehensively for completeness and conclusiveness, You will also be responsible for the precise and timely entry of the identified defects into the digital tool provided by the general contractor and, if necessary, make an exact breakdown according to the cost groups KG 300 and KG 400
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the systematic tracking of defect processing and their release in the system and ensure feedback to all affected technical teams, to create transparency in the process
  • The coordination and implementation of on-site appointments to check the absence of defects is also one of your tasks, which you will carry out with the technical teams as required, the contractors or alone as required
  • as part of your role, you will support the construction project by formally confirming the absence of defects after successful completion of the respective defect by the responsible contractors and documenting this completely
  • finally, you will be responsible for the dunning process and initiate appropriate steps upon expiry of reasonable deadlines for defect rectification in order to secure the company's contractual warranty claims

Requirements

  • You have a degree in civil engineering (m/f/d) or architecture (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification as a master builder (m/f/d) to ensure the technical depth of the warranty inspection
  • In addition, you have at least five years of proven professional experience in the complex handling of warranties and liability for material defects, ideally on the part of clients:
  • You are characterised by your confident knowledge of written and spoken German, including the confident use of technical construction terms from the KG 300 and KG 400 cost groups
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of experience with complex building construction projects covering an area of over 20.000 square metres in order to understand the requirements of the major project
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of personal responsibility and reliability in order to independently control all defect processes and guarantee adherence to deadlines
  • Finally, you are very strong in communication with all parties involved in the construction on both the contractor and client side and always work in a solution-oriented and structured manner
