• You read technical drawings and welding plans, align metal parts and tack weld them, for example steel frames
• You perform single or multi-layer weld seams on assemblies, machine components or constructions
• You set up welding systems and sometimes welding robots, set up and operate them on your own responsibility
• you check the weld seams specifically for cracks, burn marks and dimensional accuracy as part of the visual inspection
• grinding and cleaning the weld seams and removing weld spatter are part of your tasks
• you document the welding processes and carefully maintain your work equipment

• You have completed vocational training in a metalworking profession, for example as a construction mechanic (m/f/d), metal worker (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d)
• You ideally have several years of professional experience in welding, especially in series production or metal construction
• A valid welder's qualification according to DIN EN ISO 9606-1 for MAG, for example for steel, stainless steel or aluminium, you have
• you can safely handle various welding power sources, wire feeds and shielding gases
