• You weld flat and volumetric constructions as well as complex component groups precisely according to the applicable specifications
• With your expertise, you use various welding processes optimally depending on the task and material
• You always ensure dimensionally accurate, low-distortion and high-quality welding results, regardless of the position and material used
• You carefully inspect and clean the weld seams, rectify any faults independently and continuously optimise the joints
• Prepare the assemblies professionally for the upcoming acceptance so that all requirements of the shipping company and classification societies are met
• Depending on your level of experience, you actively support the further development and optimisation of processes and technologies in the welding sector

• You have completed vocational training as a construction mechanic (m/f/d) with a focus on welding technology or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, you have several years of professional experience and/or specialised knowledge
• In addition, you have a welding/operator qualification in accordance with/operator examination in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606-1 to -4 / DIN EN ISO 14732
• You will also benefit from knowledge of English
