- You will carry out professional welding work on steel structures and consistently observe the relevant normative regulations, in particular DIN EN 15085 for rail vehicles
- You will carefully prepare your components for welding based on welding instructions
- Your task is also to repair seam irregularities by grinding, autogenous jointing or flame cutting
- When positioning and tacking the components, you use measuring tools to check dimensions and angles
- You independently make all the necessary preparations for the upcoming NDT tests
- You ensure that your workshop equipment is maintained and serviced, that your workshop equipment is always ready for use through maintenance and care
- by supporting TUL processes with the help of the overhead crane and industrial trucks, you increase your work safety and efficiency
Requirements
- You have completed training in a metal profession, for example as a construction mechanic (m/f/d), metal worker (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- A valid MAG welder's certificate is part of your qualifications
- You also have a crane licence, which you use safely
- In addition, you are confident in speaking and writing German
- You are willing to acquire all the qualifications necessary for your job
- An energetic and reliable way of working and a valid work permit round off your profile
