• You will set up the 2D laser cutting machine (Trumpf), operate it and monitor its running
• You will programme or adapt cutting programmes based on technical drawings
• You will select suitable sheets of metal, cut them to size and prepare the required material
• You will continuously monitor the cutting process and resolve minor faults independently
• You will carry out dimensional and quality checks on the cut components
• To minimise material wastage, you will optimise the nesting of the cut pieces
• You carry out minor maintenance and servicing work on the machine independently
• You carefully document the production and inspection results
• You will stack and sort finished components for the next stage of the production process
• Where required, you will support your colleagues at the production line and with material flow

• Experience in operating laser cutting machines, ideally with Trumpf systems, would be an advantage
• You are confident in handling technical drawings and measuring equipment
• Basic knowledge of programming or operating CNC controls is desirable
• You are characterised by technical understanding and manual dexterity
• You work meticulously, independently and with a focus on quality
• You are a team player and reliable
• You must be willing to work early and late shifts
• You have a basic spoken knowledge of German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
