Accountant for Service Charges (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for settling service charges and reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
• You will be responsible for checking tenants’ payments and identifying any arrears or overpayments
• You will filter and allocate costs, and also filter out non-recoverable costs
• It is your responsibility to determine whether each tenant has an outstanding balance (costs > advance payments) or a credit balance (costs < advance payments)
• You will also prepare and post statements of account, incorporating heating and hot water costs and applying allocation keys
• Performing accruals and deferrals is also part of your remit
• You will post the settlement result to the relevant tenant’s account as a receivable (additional payment) or a liability (credit balance)
• In addition, you will be responsible for checking the statements for plausibility and preparing legally compliant correspondence for dispatch
• You will also calculate new advance payments
• You will handle payment transactions, prepare credit balances for disbursement via SEPA direct debit/bank transfer and monitor the receipt of additional payments

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, e.g. as an office administrator (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d), or hold a comparable qualification
