• You will independently handle day-to-day financial accounting in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting
• You will play an active role in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and will carefully prepare all supporting documents
• You will regularly reconcile accounts and maintain all accounting data in the system
• You will process payments independently and be responsible for the prompt settlement of travel expense claims
• You will carry out the preparatory VAT return on your own initiative
• As the point of contact for tax advisers, auditors and government authorities, you will answer queries competently
• You will maintain and manage all accounting data in the DATEV system
• You will actively contribute to improvements by optimising internal accounting processes

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, for example as a tax clerk (m/f/d), bookkeeper (m/f/d) (IHK), a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Several years’ professional experience in accounting or finance is an advantage for this role
• You have sound, practical knowledge of DATEV, such as DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen or DATEV Unternehmen Online
• You are confident using MS Office, particularly Excel
• Basic knowledge of commercial and tax law is part of your profile
• You work independently, in a structured and meticulous manner – you are characterised by discretion and a sense of responsibility when handling sensitive financial data
• The ability to work well in a team and strong communication skills round off your profile
