• You will be responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• You will be responsible for carrying out and monitoring day-to-day financial accounting, as well as reconciling balance sheet and profit and loss account balances
• You will also be responsible for preparing and carrying out payroll processing
• You will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting
• Your responsibilities will include preparing advance VAT returns, financial analyses, reports and management evaluations, as well as statistical returns, are also part of your remit
• Furthermore, you will act as the point of contact for auditors, tax advisers and government authorities
• You will assist with budget planning, forecasts and cash flow management
• The optimisation and digitalisation of processes in finance and accounting round off your role

• a completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as an accountant (m/f/d) (IHK) or a degree with a specialisation in finance, accounting or management accounting
• You have several years’ professional experience in finance and accounting
• Proficiency in standard accounting software (DATEV) as well as MS Office/MS365 are second nature to you
• Good time management and self-organisation, a head for figures and the ability to grasp concepts quickly are among your strengths
