• You will have overall responsibility for finance and accounting, including independent bookkeeping, financial reporting and consolidation
• You will also be responsible for the timely preparation and thorough review of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• You will also oversee the valuation, posting and tracking of relevant advance VAT returns, as well as key provisions and accruals
• Managing cash flow planning, ongoing liquidity monitoring and all payment authorisations will also form part of your regular duties
• As part of your role, you will foster a relationship of trust with the shareholders whilst acting as the central point of contact for external stakeholders
• Furthermore, you will support the active processes in the areas of process management and organisational development by preparing monthly KPI reports
• Finally, you will be responsible for the professional guidance, development and motivation of your team of around five staff members and will act as a sparring partner to the CEO

• You hold a qualification as a financial accountant (m/f/d) or a tax specialist (m/f/d), with sound training as a tax clerk (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ solid professional experience in independent financial accounting and in preparing financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Your strong knowledge of common ERP systems and MS Office sets you apart
• Your native-level command of spoken and written German, as well as a strong command of English, are key assets in your day-to-day work
• Furthermore, you possess a high level of analytical ability and a strong hands-on approach
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
